Oil and natural gas pipelines are often at risk due to tapping by criminals and terrorists around the world. They often seem to be very hard to guard, especially in relatively lawless nations. What can be done that is cost effective?

Seen the video yet? This one is crazy with before footage of them just filling buckets with the fuel. You would think the fumes alone would be strong enough to knock people out.
