Electric car use may be growing exponentially, but they are doing little to curb rising carbon emissions and oil demand, IEA said. According to Birol  it is misleading to say that electric cars are the end of oil and analysts need to put things into perspective and consider that 5 million EVs globally is nothing compared to 1 billion ICE cars.
