Vale's shares are down nearly 17% Monday as the company continues to deal with the aftermath of a dam breach over the weekend that has killed dozens of people. At least 60 people have been confirmed dead, with another 292 missing, after a dam at Vale's Corrego de Feijao iron ore mine failed and buried mine buildings and surrounding neighborhoods in iron ore waste.

Bad mining practices/ has Vale learned anything from earlier accidents? 

Is there further downside for the stock?
