The EU Countries Recognize Venezuelan Opposition Leader Juan Guaido As Nation's Interim President

The UK, France, Germany, Spain and other European countries have officially recognised opposition leader Juan Guaidó as interim president of Venezuela.
It comes after President Nicolás Maduro defiantly rejected the EU's Sunday deadline to call snap elections. Mr Guaidó declared himself interim leader last month and won US backing. Russia - a backer of Mr Maduro - accused EU countries of meddling in Venezuela's affairs. As pressure mounted on Mr Maduro to step down, he said he could not rule out the possibility of civil war. In a TV interview, he warned that US President Donald Trump would leave the White House "stained with blood" if he intervened militarily in the crisis, which arose after Mr Maduro's disputed re-election last year. Mr Guaidó said on Sunday he would build an international coalition to deliver humanitarian aid to Venezuelans. As head of Venezuela's National Assembly, Mr Guaidó says the constitution allows him to assume power temporarily when the president is deemed illegitimate.

Of course, democracy is (still) most important thing for the World - sometimes I'm not agree with the unilateral imposition of solutions, but Maduro has to go. People of Venezuela deserve  better leader.

 Many Venezuelans have high hopes on Guaido.  I hope he can restore democracy and end the suffering of all Venezuelans.

Never forget Maduro has his Army with him!!  Such is his arrogance , he even dares to threaten USA for meddling in its internal affairs. As per Venezuelan constitution, Guido is  legitimate Interim President , but power hungry Maduro defies everything with army , Russia and China putting weight behind him. Only time will tell what happens in Venezuela in the coming days. Maduro has already indicated that the country is heading towards civil war. If negotiation table is shunned by Maduro , them  how US and its western allies react is a matter of speculations.

Russia and China are about as far away as possible from Venezuela, thus in no position to save Maduro. Cuba is at work with Russian and Chinese support but we also have almost all South America against Maduro. China cannot afford to act or its economy will go into the dumpster. Russia is already there.

Lets see what is going to happen. I think he will leave question is if it is going to be peaceful or not. People in many South American countries hate him, most European countries are for the new guy. China and Russia will probably not interfere much.  I noticed that prices of properties for sale in Venezuela  went up and it means a big crisis in a local market.

Regarding property prices in countries, i want to say that their rise or falll realy speaks a lot about the leader of country. For example, real estate in Turkey is becoming more expencive recently, all because of the correct investment policy
