I think it's time people stop posturing and campaigning on issues that might have the potential to ruin the planet, throw bias to the wind, and find out which way is the best way forward. I think rarely is declaring a war on anything pragmatic and sensible. And painting products, industries, groups, etc as villans is childish at best. Why must we have such ridiculous extremes? And why must we make up our minds and then desperately search for the science to back it up, instead of looking toward science and economics first? Plastics are the lifeblood of many industries, including the medical industry and more. Find a substitute first, then let's talk about banning it.
