A very good article. I have predicted that LNG and piped natural gas would be a "dirt cheap" commodity. I am paying nearly as much for delivery as for the natural gas itself and have been for years. 

The key to the success of natural gas is distribution and switching trucks, buses, ships, locomotives, automobiles, etc. to this cleaner, cheaper, and more abundant fuel. It can also be used to make many other products such as fertilizer, plastics, etc. 

Many of the nations that will be using more natural gas are already adept at using natural gas as fuel and for making other products. They all have air pollution problems as well. The disparity in price between gasoline, diesel and natural gas will have an increasing effect as time goes on.
