Shell approves development of gas field in North Sea

Royal Dutch Shell gave the green light on Monday for an expansion of the Penguins oil and gas field in the U.K. North Sea, its first major new project in the aging basin in six years. The FPSO is expected to produce up to 45,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d).

I wonder how is it going play out with Scotland. Aren't they pushing for independence

North Sea oil and gas was probably the biggest squandering of a good thing we did; really mis-managed the income and revenues gained.
