It has been my observation that people tend to make up new words to describe an activity, event, thought, etc. that would otherwise sound silly or negative using existing vocabulary.

That biased thought aside for one minute, I would like to point out that the English language, which has begged, borrowed, and stolen words from many other languages, has a million words (super rough and debatable figure). More than any other language. For Pete's sake... STOP ADDING TO IT. The average person knows about 20K-40K unique words. That is a whole lotta wasted words. 

Lastly, and more on topic, why are they gluing themselves to the glass? And why haven't these people been arrested? Cause aside, you are allowed to protest. You are not allowed to be vandals.

Okay - so activists are becoming ever nuttier and unwilling to work through the democratic system. They have every right to draw attention to their views through protest, but not to cause disruption in order to force their views on others. That said, the disruption is minor and basically these activists should be arrested, fined, released and ignored. Perhaps, in time, they will become useful members of society..

Nope.  The average person can identify and elocute about 1,800 words.  When you get to 20,000 you are way up there.

OK, I spent a whole two minutes browsing reports, trying to uncover the undoubtedly deep meaning of the gluing. I couldn't. They're just gluing themselves to doors to, I quote loosely, get the politicians to act. Also sitting on the streets in an attempt to get arrested. Apparently, it's all the rage in London, getting arrested in a climate protest. Does anyone know anyone who can stop the Internet for a day? This degree of stupidity is unacceptable.

You folks here are not appreciating the underlying psychochemical dynamics causing the mass behavioral attenuation.  It all stems from the use of brown coal  ("soft coal") for heating fuel in London for centuries.  The accumulated sooty material has entered the nervous system via the oral cavities, accumulated in the fatty tissues, and thus modified, by mutation, the internal DNA structure of Londonites.  This assault on the micro-climate has this long-term devastating result on the minds of these Londonites, resulting in bizarre, incomprehensible behavior.  Now, if the precedent generations of Londonites had followed the eminently sensible solutions of the Dutch, and built themselves windmills with electric resistance heating instead of burning that coal, you would not have these mutations and everyone would be sane over there, with no ridiculous argumentation over Brexit as an added bonus.  Plus, the place would look much better if it copied Kinderdyk. Time to plant tulips at that palace,I should think.
