South Korea Automakers' Group Urges End to Subsidies For Chinese EVs

A South Korean automakers’ group called for an end to generous state subsidies for sales of Chinese EVs, citing a potential threat to local automakers and Beijing’s “discrimination” against EVs equipped with Korean batteries.
Jeong Marn-ki, president of the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, said Chinese automakers could boost EV exports as domestic demand suffered from a phasing out of Beijing’s EV subsidies and a trade dispute with the United States.

Meanwhile, in a side column of other news articles, there is this one about the US describing jails in Xinjiang Province as "concentration camps."  There are at least one million, and possibly three million, Muslims inside these jails.  Have a look:

Notice the comment about these jails being "vocational education centers."  Also check out the razor wire, painted green to blend with that fence.  When challenged on the concentration camps, the Governor of the province airily dismissed that by calling these "boarding schools."
