Norway Goes Electric, Planes Next On List

Norway has become a pioneer in the electric transport market and  it already has more EVs than any other country. Now it wants to become the first to adopt fully electric airplanes, at least for short-haul flights by 2040.

Can we go step by step with electric. We haven't improved electric cars yet and already going with electric planes.

Ironically that Norway came up with this idea. This country is the largest oil and gas producer in Western Europe. And now it's a leader in global revolution to push away from fossil fuels.

Why not? The planes are responsible for 3 percent of global carbon emissions and this number will double in the next ten years.

First they will have to come up with something for the batteries. They have to replace jet fuel  and how to recharge it far sooner than current planes need to ne refueled. I think this is too much ambitious and unreal.

 It's great to see Norway taking important steps towards green aviation. Sky is no longer the limit for this country.

Well it's fine if you fly with these in a country where cheap hydro allows one to make H2 inefficiently. That means you can fly it only in countries with same possibilities.

As far as I understood they are planning only internal flights. At least for now.
