For the moment, yes.  Historically, weed was grown using energy-intensive processes because it was illegal.  As such, it had to be hidden from the law, which meant grow lights.  Now that weed is legal, conventional farming is an option, and free markets are driving prices down.  We're in the phase where supply ramps up to meet steady-state demand.  When that is done, growers will compete for market share, driving prices to their floor.  The high-cost producers fail.  That means energy-intensive cultivation will be replaced by conventional farming methods. 

We'll still see greenhouses, but instead of today's metal halide/HPS/etc lights, imagine weed being grown in enormous factories with the latest, most efficient LEDs.  Or in conventional greenhouses where most of the light is natural.  Then imagine the incredible demand for grow lights driving progressively more efficient technologies. 

Weed will consume a lot of energy, but it won't sustain the growth rate we're seeing today.
