Tesla Launches Made-In-China Model 3

After a week of strange teasers, Tesla has now opened pre-orders and confirmed that the first Model 3 made in China will be the Standard Range Plus and it will start at 328,000 yuan (~$47,500 USD).

 The sedans, to be built at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Shanghai, will have a range of 460 kilometers (286 miles) per charge and will probably be delivered in six to 10 months. The car is 49,000 yuan cheaper than the imported version.
