As US Becomes Oil Superpower, What Quality of Crude Are We Talking About?

All this talk about the US becoming the biggest producer in the world has opened up a debate about the quality of that crude, light vs heavy and condensates .... Anyone got a good handle on this?

"Increasing production of light crude oil in low-permeability or tight resource formations in regions like the Bakken, Permian Basin, and Eagle Ford (often referred to as light tight oil) account for nearly all the net growth in U.S. crude oil production." per the EIA.

I hear people talking about US production growth being driven by 'condensate', but I'm not sure this is the same as light, tight oil.

Condensate isn't really crude as far as I know, and isn't good enough to meet all the supply needs of refiners. But I'm not sure where the real breakdown is in US production in terms of condensate vs light oil.
