Gasoline Cost Forcing San Diego Consumers To Pay More For Everyday Goods

Recommended Posts

According to a new report by the U.S. Department of Labor, consumer prices rose by nearly four percent in San Diego over the last year largely due to an increase in the cost of gasoline. The largest increases stem from household furnishings and operations and housing, which rose by 9.3 and 5.2 percent over the last year.

Increase in prices for food and energy over the last two months was fueled by higher gas prices, report shows. The energy index jumped 11.4 percent over the last two months mainly due to higher gas prices.
