Big Congrats to POTUS and Kim, today history was made by DT something no other US President had the humility to do. Like him or not Trump makes things happen!!

Trump and Kim make history and all CNN can focus on is the fact the press secretary may have gotten pushed in the press pool. CNN are pissed because they only managed an amateur at best attempt to cover the event.

Security constantly in front of CNNs camera blocking the shot, pay back for two years of a witch hunt and one sided news.

Sick and tired of these late night CNN lounge lizards downing trump for BS and not reporting on much more important events, I only watch this crap because I can’t get anything eles in Brasil.

Hats off to the three presidents for making history.

The world was watching history being made and overnight millions of Americans stayed up to watch the first sitting U.S. president cross into North Korea.  President Trump and North Korea’s Chairman Kim Jong-un took a massive step toward deconfliction and peace.

CTH doesn’t want to devalue the history of this moment by over analyzing the dynamic. This is an incredible moment in history as U.S. President Donald Trump carries the hopes of tens-of-millions toward a peaceful outcome in North Korea.

 

At 3:44pm ROK Time, President Trump walked out of Freedom House towards the military demarcation line between South and North Korea, located between the two famous blue huts.

The North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, wearing his traditional Mao suit, was walking down the stairs towards him on the Northern side of the line.

At 3:45pm, the President Trump and Chairman Kim leaders shook hands over the concrete slab that forms the military demarcation line between South and North Korea. “Good to see you again”, said Kim in English, adding that he would have “never expected” to see President Trump “at this place”.

At 3:46pm, President Trump crossed the demarcation line, becoming the first sitting US president to ever step into North Korea. President Trump then walked a few meters into the North together with Kim. “Good progress, good progress”, he said as the two leaders crossed back to the South.

Asked to recount the moment and first words with Kim when they approached the North-South line of demarcation, President Trump later said he asked Kim: “would you like me to come across. Kim said he would be honored. It was my honor to do it,” said Pres Trump.

After Chariman Kim crossed into South Korea the two leaders briefly spoke to media before greeting South Korean President Moon Jae-in (grinning ear to ear), and then going into the Freedom House for bilateral discussions. Trump and Kim talked for around an hour.  Notably Moon Jae-in went into a separate room to allow privacy, and President Trump’s closest staff also left after a few minutes. Suffice to say, the outcome was much more than a handshake; and initial reactions from Asian media were stunning and excited.

President Trump, Chairman Kim and Moon Jae-in emerged from the Freedom House at 4:51pm after the Trump-Kim bilateral meeting that lasted more than 45 minutes. Together all three leaders walked back together towards the demarcation line between North and South Korea. President Trump and Chairman Kim exchanged words for a few seconds and shook hands before the North Korean leader crossed back, alone, to the North of Panmunjom at 4:53pm.

South Korean President Moon said of the Trump-Kim agreement to set up new diplomatic teams as overcoming a hurdle. Speaking through a translator, Moon called it good news for the 80-million people on the Korean peninsula seeking an end to nuclear weapons. Calling it “a big step forward.”

The Berlin wall coming down was really an historic event changing the World.

Today I just see a TV show with no real substance, no real breakthough.

This is just a PR operation to attract media attention after a not so glorious G20 meeting.

 

Trump doesn't enjoy multilateral summits and prefer bilateral encounters where he can be at the center of media attention and not only one among many head of State attending. So each time he has what he probably considers as a boring G20 or G7 summit it is followed now by a meeting with his new pen pal Kim taylored for TV. No real content needed just a show in front of the cameras.

Not enough to squeeze the Korean media, CNN got trounced amazing as they had their special coverage studio in situation at the DMZ quite a lot  of work for a “worthless media” show and it was “Breaking News”. 

They are a confused bunch who don’t cover the world agenda, CNN USA IS AN EMBARRASSMENT, we get short breaks from the USA programming when they report from Hong Kong and London, much more relevant world affairs.

@Tom Kirkman Funny, I live in Germany and have access to ALL! European news outlets not only the German once and I didn’t see any reporting about any pro-Trump rallies. So maybe CNN, WP, NYT etc. didn’t show them because they weren’t there. I’m sure that there where pro-Trump rallies (the last moron is still to be born), but massiv! C’mon man, give me a break, Trump is a liar and a cheat but I’m aware that his base doesn’t care, they swallow all the BS that Trump and Fox News serves them, raw. Must have something to do with IQ.

Why am I not surprised that Mainstream Media in the UK ignored the huge pro-Trump rallies.

Your actually talking about all politicians who gain power but Trump is different because he doesn’t have the protection of the hierarchy or career politicians.

Hes an easy target unlike Mrs Merkel who lied in a big way to save Germany Billions over the Greece Bail out and then she gets an honor from Harvard for giving a speech about Trumps lies.

Kim Jun U.N. murders his own people on a regular basis. He is in control of several nuclear weapons that threaten millions of lives. He also threatens other countries with these weapons. He is actively pursuing the capability of arming missiles with multiple nuclear warheads to extend the range of his threats.

Is that threat still extremely dangerous to his own country and his neighbors? I am not ready to join the Trump peace parade.

As with most of Trumps policies we will find out over time what is smoke and mirrors and what he will stand for. In the short term he has acted like a flip flopping fool on so many occasions it is confusing to know what he thinks.

It seems like the crux of your case is I'm not a racist, I have black friends? But it's actually not even that, it's I'm not a racist because I'm in pictures with black people?  I always wonder though what the dynamic of a trump supporter is?  Is it that they share the same narcissism in that they dont want to admit they were wrong or are they actually just taken and duped by his psychopathic personality and don't realize it?
