Well, Nigeria, There's Always Cashews

Recommended Posts

Always a good idea and so much more environmentally friendly! Now they just need to clean up the Delta and start planting cashews. I cand definitely see this happening.

I wonder how long it will take them to hatch a cashew spill response plan?

If Nigeria can't get their oil act together, there's always nuts. Apparently in Kogi State, revenues from cashews will overtake oil revenue.

Govt is encouraging all to "go back to the farm"....

I hate to be pedantic, but technically a cashew is a seed not a nut...

Either way, incredible that cashews can compete with oil!

And lets remember why the Niger Delta is the way it is today. Definitely not an 'all-Nigerian' blame game.

I think they refinery is down because they are short of crude oil. I know Nigeria has some refinery problems, but I'm not sure this is a refinery problem.
