Can Renewable Natural Gas Compete With Diesel?

Recommended Posts

This is how LNG looks in the railroad sector.

A number of new cruise ships run on LNG. As far as gas as a fuel goes, the larger the vehicle, the easier it is.

City Public Service is the San Antonio, Texas power company.

The third component of the 'trifecta' mentioned here is 'biogas'.

Note the dates on the latter two articles. Both of these have been operational for roughly a decade.

Can Renewable Natural Gas Actually Compete With Diesel?

gas storage

I'm calling an intervention: we need to stop phrasing articles & discussions this way.  The question is not, "Can it compete?"  It's, "For which use cases does it make sense?" - and that will always be the question no matter what we're discussing.

Binary thinking is useless; model the situation accurately instead.

Phrase it as you would like it.
