The vaunted ARAMCO IPO

It seems that Saudi Arabia is touting once more the imminent IPO of the state oil company. The announced great interest among investors puzzles me to no end. I mean, we are talking about -supposedly- reasonably informed people who read the various newspapers....

Personally, I wouldn't invest a dime in such stock. Why? Well, imagine a war with iran, who would shower Saudi Arabia with thousands of rockets, plus sending Hezbollah to blow up oil installations... Oh yes, and imagine also Ras Tanura and Abqaiq (among other)  turned into ashes... How much do you think your newly acquired ARAMCO stock will be worth?😯

Yes, oil prices will skyrocket..... for a while.... and after the hiatus it will plunge the world economy into a recession/depression.
