T. Boone Pickens Dies At Age 91

 

Oilman T. Boone Pickens died Sept 11. He was 91.

Pickens' spokesman Jay Rosser confirmed the death to The Associated Press. Pickens suffered a series of strokes in 2017 and was hospitalized that July after what he called a "Texas-sized fall."

I heard Pickens give a talk in Houston and he had some trouble with the mic. He got it straightened out and told us how the week before while giving another talk, the mic had fallen down into his chair. He said "All the press had to say about my talk was that Mr Pickens talked out of his ass for twenty minutes". 😂
