Jan van Eck + 7,558 MG September 18, 2019 What this demonstrates is just how utterly vacuous and stupid the people in the government really are. It is just unreal.. This guy Snowden has done all of us a big favor by showing both how underhanded certain elements in the government bureaucracy really are, call them the fascist elite, and also showing us the weaknesses in the overall information handling that he was able to both penetrate and leak. You would think that the White House would be smart about it, send him a passport, cancel all criminal prosecutions, and invite him back to be a consultant on internal security issues. After all, nobody understands how it all goes together better than Snowden. Did Snowden expose egregious internal abuses and moral failures? But of course. I am grateful for Snowden, at least from what I know so far. Only Snowden has revealed that our own country has been using the full force of our own government to spy on every American. Meanwhile we are made to pay for the abuse, and are not given any information on all the matters that we the people are entitled to. We pay for vast amounts of information being revealed but are not allowed to see much of it. We rarely ever get much information about the most important events that our government acts on. It seems that this issue is one of the most important things that should be negotiated. Information after the fact is not really of much value either. We need it as that information is instructing our elected representatives. Nobody seems to be looking out for the average citizen's right to be informed on government "intelligence". Instead we have to wait until Judicial Watch, or some other such group, can eventually wring the truth out of our very slow legal process that is inhibited by our governmental employees who have their own agendas. Those agendas are often against what is beneficial and desired by the general public.
