Porsche, Audi to Jointly Develop Electric Car Platform to Save Costs

Volkswagen’s main luxury car divisions plan to develop a joint platform for EVs that will enable them significantly cut down on costs. The math is very simple- if both would act on their own, costs would be 30 percent higher.

Not surprised at all. Even we are talking about two different companies, they are both working under the same roof and with same goals. Both want to conquer EV's market and it would be much easier if they work together.

I suggest they buy the platform from Tesla and it'll come with batteries and electric motors. Much easier.
