New Gas Tax in US to pay for infrastructure

... and guess who may be on board? Republicans. Crazy times we're living in, folks! The gas tax hasn't been raised since the early 90s, and is lagging behind inflation High time? Ora step closer to economic socialism? What are Trump's aspirations for infrastructure without this tax? Suicide for Republics to back it?

Everything can't be politically motivated. Sometimes you just have to choose what makes sense rather than what's going to get you re-elected. Washington has forgotten this. Gas taxes hasn't been raised in forever and are seriously behind inflation. It's hardly socialism. Just because Republicans have been against hiking the gas tax forever doesn't mean they can't support it now.
