Greta Thunberg the teenage Climate Puppet has gone full Marxist.

In her latest public statement, she says that the ‘climate crisis is not just about the environment’:

It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all.

( I was afraid I would have to take the Great off of my Great Britain topic.)

Good luck with that mate.

I am a closet Anglophile, but it is a losing battle. I love the old Ronald Colman movies, Alfred Hitchcock ( writer and director), Basil Rathbone, Leslie Howard, David Niven, Ray Milland, etc. . Shows my age.

Thank God, the average person sees the unfairness and hypocrisy of the leftists. They are smart enough to see the schemes of the "thought leaders" in the press, the universities, the deep state, etc. I see conservatism rising around the world while socialism is failing. It is a close fight but we must win. Remember when Hilary warned that Trump might not accept the results of the election, and we all see how, in fact, she and the left never have. No, they have tried to destroy him as a candidate and impeach him before he was even sworn in.

I heard somewhere that the Dems have attempted to impeach every Republican President

Is this true?

A few have said that here yep but Jan makes shit up as he goes, and Ron will say literally anything to promote his hatred of Dems mate, so if it's true I've no idea  ;) ...  (but yeah I think it is, or since 1900 onwards maybe, something like that).

About this rating

What's True

Articles of impeachment were introduced against five of the six Republican presidents who have served since President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

What's False

Articles of impeachment were not introduced against President Gerald Ford

As you can see snopes is clearly cough cough non partisan

In other words, complete shite

Genius!

I do worry about his initials though!

I rather enjoy them, definitely wouldn't say I ''worry'' about them. You're thinking of him at the time though maybe? That's bound to put you off.

Margaret Thatcher's Amazing Prophecy on the EU

... Thatcher Video

The video is 17 minutes long. The snips above start at the 9:12 mark.

Instead, I heartily endorse watching the entire video.

How often does a politician go on stage, admit a mistake, describe the correct solution, then give a prophetic warning with uncanny accuracy?

Thanks Tom

Truly prophetic! @DayTrader even Orwellian in her predictions

I think Maggie was our greatest leader in so many ways. People always refer to Churchill due to how brilliant he was in WWII however he was a deeply flawed man. Maggie on the other hand was a super smart leader economically and politically, and also very uncompromising in her beliefs. She was Marmite, as the left hated her for her stance on closing the unprofitable mines in the UK and privatising long standing nationalised industries, the right loved her for her economic brain and her devout belief in capitalism and I wish she was our leader still, God rest her soul.

How refreshing.  Details and facts; not slogans and wishful thinking.  If you go back and listen to Reagan and Thatcher speeches and look at their actions, they were purposeful and sincere.  They took ownership and accepted blame but were not afraid to name names when others were at fault, all the while citing facts.  Whew, it seems I grew up in a much different world than what we have now.

The rot set into the Labour Party about ten years ago, with the selection of Ed Milliband, over his rather more astute older brother David. We lived on the same London street as the Milliband family in the 1960s. The people who select the Labour Party leaders clearly have an extreme agenda of their own, miles apart from millions of their loyal voters. Corbyn was a disaster from the moment the Brexit Referendum was  made, with no direction whatsoever.
