A bit of perspective on the History of the Entire World

Recommended Posts

Which by the way, includes China, Persia, India, England, France, Russia and (eventually) the U.S.  Along with a bunch of other countries and empires.

Even oil gets a fleeting mention.

Worth watching.  And then show your kids.  Something to learn while also being amused.  Really.

Missed a key point, agriculture came about because of the discovery of alcohol, it wasn't so much the food value, as the wandering hunters and gatherers had food, they just didn't have a steady supply of booze.

@Tom Kirkman

It was really a nice experience. The pace was too fast for me. And it was a kind of "I will remind you of what you already know" session. It expected general knowledge of the most important facts in human history.

I am a fan of geography, history & politics and best if all of these is quantified so that I understand how it works.

So something that I would encourage  to watch is global geographic history, presented on the map of the world:
