Conflicts Over Natural Resources and The Environment Are Among The Greatest Challenges In 21st Century

Since 1989 more than 35 mayor armed conflicts have been financed by natural resources. It seems to me how natural resources  are reason for a conflict, rather than for cooperation.

By not giving the honour to the laws also snatching and grabbing of the rights is  one of the major reason of conflicts over natural resources & the environment, in both ways either it is domestically or Internationally.

Can't hide my background in geopolitics and military strategy, but oil and gas in M. East  is linked without any doubt. The region is heading for a real clash between strong players, leaving the others in fear.

The world was always moving in two directions: fight for natural resources and territory. Human greed and evil have always been on Earth.

Someone wrote "water". We have last example from Africa. Water is hot potato in many parts of the Africa, especially  in triangle: Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia. They have no consensus over sharing Nile's water.  Failure to reach agreement could lead conflict and endanger regional security.

Water, minerals, etc. can't be important than a human. If we do not stand up and fight for human rights, liberty and freedom of movement, all hope is lost for us as a species.

Bombing a country for political hegemony and control of natural resources is imperialism. It's the world today.

You have colonialism in Africa.  Maybe they were stopped from eating each other in some countries, but generally they took natural resources and rob these poor countries.
