The Ugly Truth About How Much Americans Have Been Spied On By The Gov't Since 2001

And to think certain members here have the gall to condemn China for this.  Your USA govt is equally as bad, if not worse.  Much worse, for you are supposed to have a bill of rights to protect you. Ultimately, governments continue by consent of the governed. So if you accept your govt's criminal spying activities, why do you criticise the Chinese for accepting their govt?

Everything in USA is defined by war: trade war, currency war, war on terror, war on drugs, war on poverty, cold war, hot war, war to no end.  A war must have an opponent.  Yet, we see the average American is subject to surveillance and spying by his govt, in the same manner the average Chinese is subjected by his govt.

Isn't time the average people in both countries recognise this and see ourselves as friends, not opponents?

Let’s rephrase that as enemies spying on each other as equally great. They are all patriots for whatever country. And yes thinking one country should spy and the other shouldn’t will be slapped by captain obvious. But let’s face it the internet is filled with clueless posts. But tell me frank, is there any country that doesn’t have citizens that don’t participate in this bazaar behavior?
