Bernie Sanders introduces bill to ban fracking

Comrades, are you trying to seize control of the means of production?  Then here's great news for overthrowing an evil Capitalist business!

Sanders introduces bill to ban fracking

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) this week introduced a bill that aims to ban hydraulic fracking.

The bill was introduced on Tuesday and is titled "a bill to ban the practice of hydraulic fracturing, and for other purposes," according to the Library of Congress, though the text of the legislation was not available on the site.

Sanders has called for a ban on fracking while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination, as has Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

Sanders tweeted about the bill, which he said was also worked on by Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Darren Soto (D-Fla.) on Thursday. Merkley was listed as a co-sponsor.

The tweet included a video of actor Mark Ruffalo talking about a potential federal ban fracking.

"Mark Ruffalo just spoiled Bernie and AOC's bill to ban fracking," the video said.   ...

Some of those Dem’s with grandiose plans spending trillions in a short amount of time are just plain whacko. A measured approach of 100-200 billion per year over a couple decades is more practical as tech advances. A plan to make every building efficient for example would be a better bang for the buck. Regulations that would not allow an inefficient building to be built another lower cost regulation. These solutions don’t pack political punch though.

Shortly after Bernie dropped out of the Presidential race, the wags over on 4chan started a hilarious troll, urging Bernie supporters to ask for a refund of contributions.

Posing as Bernie supporters on Twitter, and pretending that Bernie is indeed giving refunds of political funds back to supporters.

And calling as "Trumptards" anyone who disputes that Bernie is giving political fund refunds.

I won't link to 4chan (very much Not Safe For Work) but here is a Twitter thread of one of the 4chan trolls, stiiring the pot:

And more 4chan trolls in the comments

Another 4chan troll contributes

^ this is one of my favorite trolls in this game of He Will Not Refund Us.  The 4chan troll calling himself Jackson has crafted a witty way of egging on Bernie supporters to ask for refunds.

And here is a Safe For Work link at TheDonald dot Win.  The comments are fun  : )

OMG 4Chan is telling Bernie supporters can get refunds

Sander's bill will go nowhere, but that doesn't matter.   Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has banned fracking.  The war of cheap oil and gas will continue until Wall Street surrenders and admits fracking is unprofitable.

With interests rates at zero, why not pick up a few billion to loan to producers. If it goes belly up you just use another shell bank to buy the assets for pennies on the dollar.
