Ripping up the speech is simply childish frustration...and viewers are aware of this. I believe that many voters, democrats or those ‘sitting on the fence’ have become incensed with the 3+ years of obstructionist, adolescent schemes and behavior from the democratic leadership, while the are not debating and passing legislation for the good of the country, and these voters will express their anger at the ballot box in November.

Trump is a terrible orator, so what! It is not a requirement for the job. His job is to do the best that he can for the country...and that he has done well.

The democratic leadership is ‘shooting themselves in the foot’ with these childish antics.

While I find left-trending news to be more liable to be Fake News, right-trending news is still focused on sensationalism rather than content.

Case-in-point, I wish they were ignoring the Pelosi Tantrum with only passing reference, the way you do with a child.  Instead they are giving the crying child endless attention, which is what they want.

A better headline this AM would have been "We will Never Be a Socialist Nation."   That would actually grind the left's gears as opposed to giving them a 'Pelosi is all of us' or 'Truth to Power' trope  i.e. emotion without substance or results.

Tizzy fit because POTUS didn’t see her hand, he didn’t shake Mike Ps hand either , he had folders in his hands, and why should he be looking for a handshake that is meaningless and false? Also let’s bare in mind the next day is judgement day on a case put together by Charlotans. There was plenty in the speech that the Democrats applauded so by ripping up what is actually a historical document she had shown exactly what she and her caucus is, a bunch of partisan anti American pinkos who have just realized they have lost the election. FFS they couldn’t even count there own votes, or maybe that was Russian interference as well.....

naw. On election day no one will change their vote on her tearing up the speech (99.99 percent of all voters will not even think of Nancy on election day except in her own district). Do you think lazy registered voters will be motivated by her actions to get off their duffs and vote ? If you do I have a bridge to sell you. Trumps performance ( and personality) will be on the ballot and will drive many to the polls. The senate not calling witnesses will swing a few independent votes to the left.

Obviously, none of you have heard of the theory that Pelosi wasn't reading the speech, she was reading her criminal indictment.  Look at her panicked facial expressions.  Trump's speech would not cause that type of panic. 

Go ahead, watch the video clip a couple of times, and try to convince me that the absolute horror and panic in Pelosi's face was caused by reading the text of Trump's speech.

Then It's up to Lindsey Graham to subpoena fake whistleblower Eric Ciara and Rosemont  Capital's Chris Heinz and Hunter Biden.  But he won't. 

Why no Barr/Durham investigation for months.  Are they going to whitewash the lefts crimes and give them a little slap on the wrist saying  " poor judgement was made but no crimes were committed" .  The right should not hope for big things from Barr/Durham.  You will be disappointed again.

Personally, I think President Trump is a great orator. There are many who were more mellifluent. Trump reaches the common man better than any since FDR IMHO.

Many Democrats and independents have complained about the whole impeachment process and trying to get rid of Trump since he took office. The independent vote will play a big part in the next election and many Democrats will vote for Trump. At any rate, We will see in November. Pelosi is just frosting on the cake.

Romney is still butt hurt by Trump shining him on about sec state role. Of course he'll vote for impeachment, after all, his own son is just as guilty as Hunter Biden for working with the Ukrainians. I'm hoping he loses reelection but with Mormons you never know.

I was almost feeling sorry for him when he had to make the announcement that he would vote for impeachment. I was forgetting about his son.

Romney is a NEVER TRUMPER

He was crushed by his loss to Obama for the Presidency.  Never got over it. 

It is eating at him.  The fact that he lost and someone "like" Trump is in the Oval office will always haunt him. 

Hillary and Romney one in the same.  They both were so close and both will never get over that they lost and someone like Trump won and has been successful. 

Republican better be careful.  Better treat Mitt nice.  They don't want him switching to Independent or Democrat. He has 5 years left as Senator.

He's a RINO (Republican in name only) already. There are folks in Utah ready to impeach him now, so be should be careful. Don't know the rules on senator impeachments but I'm guessing it's up to each state. Would be highly ironic if he gets impeached by his state for voting to impeach the president in a meaningless and dare we say, "petulant" gesture?

Tuesday, Jody Jones was in attendance for President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address in honor of his brother, Rocky Jones, who was killed in California by a criminal illegal immigrant under the state’s sanctuary policy.

Immediately following Trump’s speech, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was seen on camera ripping up Trump’s State of the Union speech, to which Jones shared his reaction to in a Wednesday appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

Jones said seeing Pelosi rip the speech up was “probably the most disrespectful thing” he has ever seen in his life, adding it “ripped” his family’s hearts out.

“It felt like she ripped our hearts out — everybody there, all the guests, we couldn’t believe it,” Jones stated. “Look, I don’t care how you feel about somebody. That was probably the most disrespectful thing I’ve ever seen in my life because when she did that it tore us up. We couldn’t believe it.”

Jones added it “really” felt like Pelosi was ripping up his brother’s name with her “disrespectful actions.”

To Pelosi, Jones urged, “First of all, let’s do away with the [California Sanctuary Law SB 54]. I don’t care how you feel about somebody — think of other people and the others involved, please, because what you did was very disrespectful and it really ripped our hearts out.”

The only people who paid attention to his speech were his supporters.  Very low broadcast ratings.  Most people just tuned it out because they assumed it was the usual "I'm great, you suck" speech.

I think the people that tuned in to the SOTU Address were those that were actually interested in the State of the Union, which will be the ones who actually get off their asses and vote in November (the others were probably at their new jobs...).

Regardless, Pelosi’s action was childish, disrespectful and negatively portrayed the office of Speaker of the House. Whether you are a Democrat, Independent or Republican, this show of disrespect for an ELECTED President will no doubt come back to haunt Pelosi and her party.

Eh. Dems are showing Trump the same respect that Republicans show for Democratic presidents.  As to turnout, we'll see.  The last couple of times Trump tried to help in a state election, his presence increased turnout from the Dem side, too. 

So I predict a coin flip.  Lots of angry people and screaming, regardless of results.  Looking forward to it.
