Some report from Syria....  Iran continues to back powerful militias with thousands of fighters it has trained in Syria. Its goal, analysts say, is a united front in any war with Israel.

Iran wants a new policy in Syria. It seems they want to take minerals from them and , just like in Iraq, to establish military and political control.

Interesting. It shows a rift between Turkey, Russia and Iran. I wonder what Iran has in mind? They have power in Syria without any doubt.

Iran and Turkey are historical rival. Don't forget, that they are syiah (Iran) and Turkey are sunni. It is more then enough reason for any decision against the other side, or total war...

Iran and Russia will sign a long-term political and economic agreements with Syria in return for their military support. It's a trap for the West and U.S. Of course if dictator Asad remains in his position. And, don't forget the aspiration of another dictator, RT Erdogan.

As I know, at May last year Al-Assad and his allied militias started signing contracts with Tehran for the acquisition of mines (phosphate) in Syrian city Homs!  "Officially and transparently".

It's true! The Syrian regime has already signed a contract with Iran earlier that year, during a visit of Prime Minister Imad Khamis to Tehran. The contract included the exploration, extraction and investment of phosphate for 50 years.....

For me, this is the expected confrontation between the regime of Erdogan and the mullahs of Iran. Erdogan's greed could will fuel this conflict for influence in West Asia. Afrin is break point in this case.
