Recommended Posts

A 52-year-old South Korean official who helped spearhead that country’s regulatory crackdown on cryptocurrencies was found dead in his home on Sunday. Jung Ki-joon helped coordinate efforts to create legislation aimed at suppressing cryptocurrency speculation and illicit activity, including in No. 1 cryptocurrency bitcoin BTCUSD. South Korea is a center for cryptocurrency trading. The price of bitcoin was damaged by possibility of new legislation. And this guy was an important part of this legislation story. He might caused the damage to many players in this market.

I wouldn't make a James Bond movie here. Jung Ki-joon  had to regulate the crypto and probably had a heart attack because he realized that it can't be controlled. And even harder how to tell that to his leaders.

Right, while I usually see conspiracy theories around every corner, it probably is not the first time someone died from a heart attack caused by stress.
