  1. We have the light oil to blend, but if we can get it from a stable Venezuela that is nearby it is easier to deliver. We need a stable South America and not let China get control of things there. I would think that the best use might be asphalt or burning it and producing electricity. Maybe natural gas is cheaper and it is cleaner. What do you think?
  2. Well, my source thought that the commanding officers were sorely lacking in administrative and leadership abilities. Maybe he was wrong though. I never had a high opinion of Montgomery though, prior to hearing from Derek Prince. Maybe you are right. I am a fan of Patton, more than anyone else. I don't really study military history. I am a fan of MacArthur also. Not sure about the rest. Eisenhower was apparently a great administrator. Grant, of course, for the Civil War. Maybe Sherman was more brutal than necessary. I really don't know. George Washington was the most important.

  5. The oil may be refined in the USA but it will go to Europe and elsewhere. We can buy all that Canada does not need at home. Canada will also be exporting natural gas, possibly to California but definitely to China. The new port in British Columbia should be ready soon.
  6. You were. One front blowout away. I tried that with my NIssan Sentra fastback on the way to Vegas. I think I slowed down after hitting 100 though. That was about 1985.
  7. Lots of people, like me, have old computers laying around and newer devices sitting in desks unused. I have 2 cheap cams and other devices that I never used. Yet I just bought a Chromebook for a backup to my 17 inch HP laptop. I never bothered to go from a to 16 ram, but just used a tab suspender or rebooted to clear the cache. I would buy a gaming rig if I wasn't so busy online. I used to love gaming when I was working. I went from a Texas Instruments to 286, 486, and stopped at I 5 because there was no need short of gaming which I no longer had time for once I retired. I used gaming as a stress reliever before then. I never understood why people wanted tiny phones or small computers, I want big. My new Chromebook is 15.6 inches and runs a much less demanding Chrome O.S. It is hard to find a 17 inch Chromebook. I think I paid about $1,500 for my 286 and my Chromebook, cost me $379. Considering inflation that would be about $150 in equal dollar value today. The difference in capability is, of course, many times greater. 2021 Flagship Acer Chromebook 15.6" FHD 1080p IPS Touchscreen Light Computer Laptop, Intel Celeron N4020, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC,HD Webcam,WiFi, 12+ Hours Battery,Chrome OS,w/Marxsol Cables Visit the Acer Store 4.6 out of 5 stars 199 ratings | 55 answered questions Amazon'sChoicein Tradit I wonder who spends more for high priced computers, our government or gamers? https://www.zdnet.com/article/most-expensive-gaming-computer/ Most expensive gaming computers: $20,000 is a small price to pay for victory We've curated a list of the most expensive gaming desktops and laptops you can get your hands on if you're willing to cash out your 401(k) early.

  13. You pointed out to me the magnitude of the pollution caused by ships. I have always promoted natural gas for ships, so we share a major concern. Natural gas will come down in price as flared gas is seen as a commodity which can easily be tapped and sold for a profit or used directly in the oilfields or nearby. It can also be shipped by trucks as CNG. Europe needs to rethink its opposition to developing their own, but natural gas is all over the world. It just needs to be developed. Methane hydrates need to be developed by countries like Japan that have to import it. They have been testing it.
  14. Yep. I just heard about it an hour ago. Do you or anyone know their capabilities and numbers versus the Russian jets? If necessary they could be used to close ports to the south and Russian ships and blow up the new bridge to Crimea. More antiaircraft systems are also needed. We need to be in it to win it with Ukraine. It should be the West's primary goal until Russia is kicked out of Ukraine. Ukraine should close the land route from Eastern Ukraine to Crimea, which is still in play.
  15. They had to learn the hard way. They should have developed their own natural gas resources along with the renewables while keeping their nuclear and coal! The environazis have no common sense though. Putin funded the Greens for decades.
