If toyota gm etc can do it, then why can’t tesla. It has less moving parts, less dependent on suppliers except for batteries. In fact Tesla produces and sells Cars that batch manufacturing of Ford last century. Everything is possible!!

If GigaBerlin and GigaTexas are online by mid year then US .600 million china .300 million Europe .100 million can be achieved for 2021 and for 2022 double that.

In India there is a Buzz Tata Motors has signed MOU with Tesla Motors for collaboration! This is HUGE ! Tata Power is india’s biggest privately owned power company. Tata group has all IT power Renewable Motors Batteries chemical companies. In short Tata has all resources and along with Tesla, India can overtake all in EV in coming years!

If Battery prices reduce to a level where EV costs same as ICE Vehicle then Fleet, Taxis, Bus will replace ICE with EV. This will cause significant dent in Oil consumption. Moreover I think Companies who provide Pick and drop services to Employees and clients will soon replace ICE with EV as cost benefit. Also those companies will have Charging facilities in future.
