Texas regulator closes gas-winterization loophole

Texas’s top oil and gas regulator voted Tuesday to more clearly define who’ll be at the top of the list to keep receiving electricity during severe winter weather, closing an earlier draft loophole that critics said would’ve let any operator pay just $150 to opt-out of expensive upgrades.

For $150 you could opt out of regulations and still receive electricity during brownouts. Brilliant Republican scheming to make a buck while people die and homes freeze. 
In the meantime Abbot focuses on the wall to prevent new immigrants but wants the present illegals to keep working. He rallies the police force to protect Texans by profiling citizens of color. Work but expect to be monitored. Sounds like Texas wants to be China.
