Tullow Oil, Kosmos in talks for potential merger, both companies confirm

(Bloomberg) – Kosmos Energy Ltd. and Tullow Oil Plc both acknowledged early merger talks on Thursday, following media speculation. Together, the companies would create an Africa-focused explorer with production exceeding 120,000 boed.
