Pioneer Energy awarded $27 million by DOE to advance methane emissions reduction

Pioneer Energy has been granted four awards by the U.S. DOE totaling $27 million. Pioneer will use the funds to advance its Emission Control Treater™ (ECT), a near-zero emissions well pad production technology that can increase crude yield by 5-10%.
