Petar + 76 PP December 7, 2017 Statoil, the Norwegian state oil giant will invest $6 billions in development of Arctic oil projects. Name of oil field is Castberg and it's a world’s biggest offshore oil project to get the go-ahead this year.Today everybody talks about big investment, big transfer on oil field, but what will happen to climate? Seleskya + 50 AS December 7, 2017 Guess we can ask Greenpeace because they're suing Norway over this https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/nov/14/norway-sued-over-arctic-oil-exploration-plans
Selva + 252 SP December 7, 2017 There will always be reactions, but probably without effects on decisions of those who have the main word.
Petar + 76 PP December 7, 2017 I remember one news from the last year. Due to the low oil prices on the world market, Norway had to spend the funds deposited for the first time since the fund was established. This fund was formed 21 years ago and keeps all the money earned from the oil sale. During two decades money was never spend. That is a main reason why is this fund one of the largest funds in the world. From the fund, in 2016, "$ 800 million" was drawn. There's no doubt that until now, money has been returned to this fund multiple times.
