Marina Schwarz + 1,576 February 27, 2018 Canada's energy industry is not in the best of shapes. Now Shell could drop a major LNG project if the federal government fails to exempt it from hefty import tariffs for modules to be used in the construction of the plant. LNG is no crude oil, so Ottawa may decide to do the kind thing. otherwise the country could miss a multibillion-dollar opportunity to stake a claim in global LNG markets.
