American gasoline consumption fell for the first time in five years in 2017 (by .0006%). Bloomberg "blaming" it on illegal immigrants who stopped driving in early 2017 after Trump's inauguration (not sure where that statistic came from). EIA estimating the demand is going to increase again in 2018
