Marina Schwarz + 1,576 March 14, 2018 (edited) South Korea's fuel oil imports are skyrocketing as it tries to phase out coal and nuclear plants enter maintenance season. But I was thinking, the country wants to shut down its nuclear reactors, too, if I'm not mistaken. it wants to satisfy 20% of its energy needs with renewables by 2030. So oil and oil product imports would continue to rise, I suppose, along with gas. And to thin nuclear is actually greener than oil and gas...
