But they were hijacked and turned against them. Yes, I'm aware this article is overly bombastic. But the points raised need some poking around on. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Drops New Bombshell — Bill Gates’ Coronavirus Vaccine Will Pay Out BILLIONS in Profits to Dr. Fauci’s Agency If you are one of the millions of Americans wondering why Dr. Anthony Fauci is vehemently cheerleading and praising a coronavirus vaccine for ALL Americans … Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says follow the money. Bobby Kennedy Jr. dropped a bombshell on the Thomas Paine Podcast, detailing an apparent agreement between the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Bill Gates-backed pharmacuetical company that has the best chance at this point of securing lucrative contracts for a national coronavirus vaccine. (Listen at top) That puts your government in bed with Big Pharma and Gates and could pay as much as 50 percent of the profits to the NIH, the parent agency that employs Dr. Anthony Fauci — who again — is lobbying for the vaccine. Does Fauci get a cut of the bounty too? Or has he already been cut in? Federal officials are not commenting on Kennedy’s alarming information. But … the NIH is the key player in deciding what vaccines get approved for coronavirus and the NIH and government would profit wildly, as Kennedy said, if the Gates-backed pharma play Moderna Inc. gets the green light. Kennedy slammed both Gates and Fauci on numerous occasions during the exclusive interview with Paine. Gates’ company is already in human trials with the vaccine. Just weeks after the outbreak? Democracies should set up their own democratic international organizations and leave the mad Chinese outside. The head of WHO Ethiopian Tedros was a former leader of the Marxist Ethiopian party. He was supported by China to aquire the post of Director. In 2018 under Ethiopian Tedros leadership W.H.O. SPENT OVER $200 MILLION ON TRAVEL. NOT BAD FOR A MARXIST They flew around the world on extravagant junkets staying in the presidential suites on luxury hotels and dinning at the finest restaurants. CNN anchors defend these pigs. China's Belt and Road has it's claws deep inside Ethiopia. China uses the same MO when targeting another Belt and Road victim. They pay off corrupt leaders who then agree to the Chinese wishes and purchase of the countries assets (ports, railroads, minerals, natural resources) at well below market rates. W.H.O. , Tedros , China , think they are inscrutable. Think again. Trump won't stop funding W.H.O. after an investigation . . . . unless Tedros thumbs his nose at U.S. and continues his current attitude. I think there is a good chance as a condition for future financial support the U.S. will ask for Tedros's resignation. The U.N. and their agencies (ie W.H.O. etc) don't rule the world. Wise up. Tom Kirkman + 8,860 April 21, 2020 Gates Foundation Is World Health Organization’s Second Largest Donor Over the past decade, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has become the World Health Organization’s second largest donor. They may now have moved up to take their place as the agency’s largest donor. Until just last week, when President Trump halted US funding to the WHO, the only donations higher than those from the Gates Foundation came from the US government. Dr Rath Foundation reports: Providing proof that the independence of the World Health Organization (WHO) has been severely compromised, a document from the 2018 annual meeting of the World Health Assembly (WHA), the WHO’s decision-making body, gives revealing details of where the organization’s funding comes from. During 2017, the total amount of money provided to the WHO by countries was exceeded by that coming from non-state actors, including the pharmaceutical industry. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation contributed almost $327 million to the WHO’s General and Fiduciary Funds, making it the second-largest donor overall. The only donations to these funds higher than those of the Gates Foundation came from the government of the United States. ... ... Drug and chemical industry donations to the WHO The multinational drug and chemical industries and their investors figure prominently in the lists of WHO donors. Money contributed to the WHO’s General Fund by these sources during 2017 included the following: Other prominent WHO donors during 2017 included banks, private foundations with links to the pharmaceutical industry, and the George SorosOpen Society Institute. Gates treated like a head of state by the WHO With the contributions provided to the WHO by the Gates Foundation now exceeding those of every national government on earth apart from the United States, the WHO clearly no longer has any independence in the field of health. Having traded its scientific credibility for funding from business interests, its advice on the prevention and control of diseases cannot be trusted. ... ===================================================

Nope, these are viral containment hospitals. Each room is equipped with negative airflow, which sends cleaned, filtered air at all times into the patient room while preventing air—along with potentially infectious particles—from escaping out into the rest of the hospital. Ditto sanitary ware must be water proof. Closed-circuit video cameras monitor safety throughout the patient areas. Glass windows—and intercom connection—links the patient care area to the room where unprotected health care providers are stationed, to let workers observe and communicate with the patient without having to don specialized garb. You can watch this video where China built such wards for export to South Korea. The relevant clip starts around 4:03. China also commandeered a lot of existing structures such as stadiums, etc. as makeshift wards to quarantine patients with mild symptoms. surrept33 + 609 st April 21, 2020 The WHO has historically been one of the more important organizations in the world. The returns on investment for the US's involvement is once again, hard to quantify, but we'd most likely have to spend far more eradicating communicable diseases that spread into our borders if the WHO didn't exist. For better or worse, in a practical sense, many diseases can only be stopped via transnational organizations that can coordinate responses between governments. Does it need reform? Absolutely. The G7 issued a statement to that effect. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-g7/g7-seeks-who-review-and-reform-commits-to-coordinated-virus-response-white-house-idUSKBN21Y2Y2 It would be better for us if we, along with our allies, were involved pivotally with the reform. We need to be more engaged, not ceding more control to countries like China. The budget is a drop in the bucket relative to what we'd have to spend otherwise with a weak WHO.
PTakacs + 59 PT April 21, 2020 4 hours ago, Douglas Buckland said: It had already spread internationally before China did anything... So? China is a third-world country without our level of medical care. I mean, if as people say that the disease was already here last year (in Dec. or even Nov), how come the CDC didn't detect it and then contain it? That's its job, right? Are you saying that the Chinese gov is superior to our CDC? Are you saying that we can't do or detect anything without the Chinese telling us so? The point is, all countries outside of China had the same information we had and saw China's quarantine of 50M in January. Many of them acted accordingly. Among all of these countries, how did we perform? That is the fair comparison. You can whine against China or the WHO however you want, but tell me honestly that we have done a better job than most other developed countries -- because we really should have given that we are much further away from China and do not have as many human interaction with China as, say, Taiwan, Japan, and SKorea.
