Peri Mounagurusamy 0 PM April 13, 2020 Can someone throw light on how long the current negative crack of Jet fuel is likely to continue? This is going to badly impact Crude processing with 20% of Crude product slate contributing negatively...
0R0 + 6,251 April 13, 2020 So long as the refiners are not changing inputs to more LTO and less Brent and Arabian. Jet fuel has become a by product. When the refiners accept that demand isn't going to come back that quickly they will rejigger to make a more gasoline weighted product mix and that is good for LTO even if capacity is shut down for a while. But in the meantime, the crack on gasoline isn't that hot either. Did my bit and filled up a Town Car.
