Saying Jones Act is threatening U.S. Energy Independence is a Red Herring

Just another excuse for the majors to avoid paying U.S. income taxes.  Would not be an arm's length transaction. Can't use transfer pricing thru offshore tax haven.  I'll explain later tonight. 

Why let a good crisis go to waste.  Oil industry cries no more energy Independence with fake numbers and stats to defeat Jones Act.  

Kind of like they wanted to stop paying gpvernment oil royalties on federal leases on land and in the Gulf of Mexico.  

Guess we should expect it.  .  Nancy Pelosi wants a $500 Billion bill for State bailouts.  It is called a Covid 19 relief bill , but it would go mostly go to those states that never saw a project or boondoggle they would not spend their tax payers money on.  Like New York, Illinois, California , etc who have huge budget deficits from years of excessive spending.

Remember Joe Bidens "shovel ready" construction project Trillion Dollar Congressional bill in 2008/2009. The money was never spent on construction. The states just reduced their huge state budget deficits.   No wonder there was never a strong Obama recovery. 

Get ready for "Shovel Ready II".  Guess what they're shoveling.
