Mattia Mori 0 April 17, 2020 (edited) This morning on Oilprice the value of WTI is above 26 USD...on other sites, as Investing.com, is 18,37 USD...usually the difference btw various site is very little, why is there such a huge diffence today? I've checked also other sites and it seems that they are all similar to Investing.com, therefore I think there is something wrong on OP...do you have any explanation on this? jpl + 1 JP April 17, 2020 (edited) Is the WTI crude on Oilprice.com currently showing wrong information? The price says $25 on Oilprice.com but $18-19 on Investing.com. I assume the price on Investing.com is correct? Please help me confirm. UPDATE: OK see that others also asking the same question, seems like a temporary bug on Oilprice.com. Sahi69 0 SH April 17, 2020 You’re looking at may contracts. oilPrice is displaying June futures.
Lucia + 5 LB April 17, 2020 Apparently the May contract is due to expire on the 21st of April and the price shown on Investopedia is the May contract and the price shown here is the June contract. But anyone had any issues with the rollover on trading platforms. My platform done a rollover to the June contract and the adjustment is ridiculous. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUKKBN21Z05F This is where I read about the contracts.
Enthalpic + 1,496 April 17, 2020 Obviously you need to look elsewhere for correct Oil prices. This forum is in the process of splitting into two URLs: trumpSupporter.net and ChinaHate.com Please have patience during the transition. Thank you.

Bob_W + 37 BW April 17, 2020 Prices took a sudden jump on-the-hour in the middle of the night. So I expected there was a technical reason for the price jump, not an actual change in buying trends. But I didn't expect this morning for some sites to still be reporting the 'old' prices and other sites reporting the 'new' prices. I guess that function is not standardized in the industry? CMOP + 227 April 17, 2020 Hi Everyone - We have worked out the problem. The prices are correct now. Oilprice Team
Bob_W + 37 BW April 17, 2020 So now that's fixed, can you tell us when the price is finally going down to $10? It seems that screen is still broken.

CMOP + 227 April 17, 2020 Hi @Lucia - Our WTI prices were displaying the June contract due to an issue with our data provider - hence the price difference. Sorry for the inconvenience. Michael
