aaronc + 1 AC May 3, 2020 Hello Gent's,......been lurker here for a while. I am new to this forum,..this is my first post,...but I'm in other forums of various interest and find them very useful. I've had a growing interest in the oil and gas industry over the past couple of years and at some point in time would like to enter the futures market,...but that is down the road. My question is a supply and demand related inquiry. Articles are all over the net about the drop in rig counts,...even on this site. It seems they can be readily taken out of service pretty quick,......now to my question. How long does it take to fire these rigs back up when the time comes? Are they restarted as easily as they are shut down? I have looked through google with a variety of phrases and the "time it takes to restart" an oil rig didn't seem to be readily available. Any insight is appreciated .....Best Regards - Aaron
