Has anyone used platts on the net ? I understand it’s an expensive platform (circa 45k per annum) that details trades of large banks and trading houses in real time?

Back when I was a moderator on the old Oilpro forum, Platts gave me a 1 month free membership to evaluate (obviously, they wanted me to promote it on the Oilpro forum).

Platts premium content does indeed have a weath of information, much of it is exclusive content and commentary.  You get what you pay for.

Because the annual fees are so expensive, it is normally used just by instititional investors / oil companies, etc  and certainly not by casual users.
