Rodent + 1,424 April 12, 2018 That $44 Billion refinery that Saudi Arabia and India signed yesterday is now being opposed, citing environmental concerns such as destruction of mango and bamboo cultivations. Is that really the motive for the opposition here? And what are the alternatives? India is the fastest growing user of crude oil, and they need to refine it--planning a 77% increase in refining capacity by 2030. Do they have the means to switch from fossil fuels?
