BP's has started early work on an offshore gas field shared by Senegal and Mauritania with reserves of 15 trillion cu ft of gas. The gas will be liquefied at a floating facility. Could be the next big thing in LNG although these resources alone are not as much as they seem: roughly equal to the annual demand of the EU. But there may be more fields to discover.
