Marina Schwarz + 1,576 April 18, 2018 Soooo, two more provinces have joined in the shin-kicking between Alberta and B.C. Saskatchewan is on Alberta's side, planning its own oil export-cutting legislation and the opposition on Quebec is siding with B.C. promising to help them with their legal case against Alberta's Bill 12 that could cut oil and fuel exports to B.C. I think I'm enjoying this a little too much, I admit. Saskatchewan is a very minor exporter of oil to B.C., I gather, and the Quebec party's gesture is more symbolic than anything else but the fact that the conflict is spreading is important. Somebody already said that Trans Mountain could cost Trudeau next elections.
