Rodent + 1,424 December 13, 2017 India's solar push might have been even bigger if it had not been for the low oil prices in the last couple of years. They've really benefited from that since they are huge oil importers. But it's important for them to hedge with alternatives as oil has crept up in the last year and India will have to pay much more for their oil imports. Stephen + 67 SM December 13, 2017 During the time of depression, Greece has witnessed the fastest growth in solar energy use in the developed world. I believe that only Spain is beating them. This means that Greece will meet its emissions targets under the Paris Climate Change Accord. So, do we really have to go broke, as country or as household, in order to go solar.
