Rodent + 1,424 May 2, 2018 IMF has made repeated attempts to get information from Venezuela, and it has not been forthcoming. jose chalhoub + 388 May 2, 2018 mmmm now wont seem to make much of an impact, although this seems to be another element to pressure Venezuela in what looks like a global strategy to pressure Maduro to step down. And also Venezuela does not pay attention to the IMF, at least not in front of the voters of the revolution. But things might be slightly different if a government of other ideology is in power certainly.

Venezuela hasn't provided economic info for years now and has repeatedly badmouthed the IMF. The IMF's patience should have worn thin a while ago.
